Smart Repair Process

 

 

CLAIM

It’s Simple! You lodge your claim and Smart Repair will take care of the rest for you!

Once you have lodged your claim your insurer will allocate your claim to Smart Repair Australia Pty Limited. When we have located premises convenient for you we will contact you to arrange a suitable time for an assessment of your vehicle.

 

ASSESSMENT

You bring your vehicle to our work shop and we will carry out the inspection, take photos and book your vehicle in for a repair

At this stage we are looking at your vehicle in order to determine the best method of repair. The assessment takes around 10 minutes.  Our qualified professional staff and technicians will be there to help you through the process.

 

REPAIRS

You drop your car to our workshop and we will repair it & have it back to you in no time.

One of our qualified Technicians will begin the repair process on your vehicle once you have dropped it off to our workshop. If your vehicle is a pdr (paintless dent repair) job it will be completed within approximately 5 business days.  If it requires a combination of pdr and paint work it will be completed within approximately 2 weeks. Should it require a panel replacement eg new roof then it may take a little longer.  We will discuss that with you when we book your vehicle for the repair with us.

 

COLLECT

Collect your vehicle, pay your excess, Happy Customer! That’s our guarantee to you….

When the repair has been completed we will carry out a “quality check” to ensure we are completely satisfied. You will receive a phone call to advise that your vehicle is ready for you to pick up.  Smart Repair provides an additional service of washing and vacuuming your vehicle for you.  On collection you can make payment of the excess to Smart Repair.  We accept cash and have eftpos facilities.  We accept all major cards. (No American Express or Amex)
